I was actually taught to ring by one of the Charles Church ringers - Jack 
Sims who is still alive I remember him talking about the bells apparently 
the fire brought the back seven down and the were smashed at the bottom of 
the tower the three lighter bells remained in the tower, were removed and 
stolen but by whom is not known.
