I don't think it is a good idea. Only a minority of ringers are interested 
in bells, and many of the articles on bells in individual churches (usually 
about restorations) with appear in the RW are poor. Whilst it is true that 
the RW is the main place for the publication of articles by bell historians 
(I've written a number, as have many others on this list) I don't think that 
a specialist bell history publication is within the RW's remit. What is 
needed is a society dedicated to the study of bells, like there is for 
clocks.
