Thanks for everybody's replies. I don't know about the ringers, but I
was relieved when they finished. Although the bells go for dozens of
peals without being checked, the thought of something falling off after
that amount of time is a bit stressful!
We've already had another request for a long length! However, in the
mean time, Brian Warwick's band are "performing" again this morning. :-(

I know this list is probably not the forum for discussing this but, if
the list in the Diary is incomplete nowadays, what's the point of
having it at all?
