No. The bell in question is nineteenth-century. The Byrdalls (not Byrdan)
were, as the dates indicates, early seventeenth century founders. The site
of their foundry has been excavated (report in the Devon arch. journal).
They were the last in the line of Exeter medieval founders, and used a
number of their stamps.
Probably the best known Byrdall bell is the 4th at Exeter Cathedral.
