Mancroft retuning again

I should have checked the source before quoting it! DB's page on 
Mancroft on 'Bells of Norwich' says:

"A recent examination of the bells by the Steeple Keeper, Steve Day, 
has shown that the only one of the bells (other than the extra treble) 
to bear any marks of modern machine tuning is the tenor, which has 
been cut in the mid-waist and soundbow area. This tallies with the 
information above, as the tenor is the only bell to have lost enough 
weight to account for both tuning and canon removal."

This sounds conclusive, certainly the rest of the peal is still 
suitable for my investigation.
