Personal experience suggests that you lower the limit to around 20cwt.  
The two tenors at Coventry Cathedral, c24 & 34cwt have had about 11 or 
12 failures between them since the bells were put in during 1987.  None 
of the bells that are less than a ton have had a single failure.

Taylors have been very good in terms of their response to these 
breakages.
