None that I am aware of, though I am not certain what material was used for
the stock on Aldbourne 5th (1915).
Warners' 1898 frame and fittings at Bryanston were as fine as the bells.
But I agree they went on using strap-type gudgeons and putting end-posts in
wooden frames for far too long.
