Stolen Bells

Before unused bells stored at ground level are loaned to the local
museum, the curator(s) should be asked to demonstrate that their storage
facilities are more secure than those of the church. I know of at least
one instance where historic bells have been dumped in the museum garden;
at least in the church they were out of the weather.
