I think Andrew Aspland drew attention to this bell back in 2003 (I'm assuming it is the same one - in which case it's dated 1868) - I certainly made a note of it from a posting at about that time. Looks like it's not selling at that price!

Quite intrigued to note the Taylor type angular canons on this early Blews bell, although it's the Blews gothic lettering and by 1868 they were casting their own bells
