Matthew does make some excellent points . Re Hennock , I'd get in as many  
bellhangers as possible and if they are agreed as to the cause of the trouble  
could present to EH ( or whoever ) and politely request them to find a solution 
 to the problem that they now face . That's assuming that the last work done  
was under the control of the  ' conservationists '   .There  is also the 
possibilty that the knocking on the treble could be sorted out  fairly reasonably 
, as it doesn't always follow that one bell knocking means  that the whole lot 
is dangerous .
