A little above half-way. It has two pulley boxes, one on each side, and
with long enough ropes and people on the frame I see no reason why it
wouldn't go all the way up. However, there are concerns about the
considerable damage which the 26cwt clapper could cause if it came out
at that sort of height, so it's not generally rung higher than half-way.
