Richard mentions Wally Spraget's tuning book from his time with G&J. I saw it on a couple of occasins while working on the late output of G&J for which the final "fair copy" tuning books are missing.  Wally's book covers 1952-1954 only, and doesn't include the figures for the Freedom bell - pity, as the full process (at each cut) sounds as though it might have been of interest to Bill
