Does anyone know anything about these bells - listed in old editions of Dove as first a ring and then (from 3rd edition 1962) a chime of five, tenor 19 1/2 cwt. Ellacombe lists five bells 1. 1668, 2. 1630, 3. T. Bilbie 1796, 4. W. Bilbie 1777 and 5. Thomas and James Bilbie 1729, but without diameters or sizes
Only curious, but would be interested to know if they are as big as they are claimed to be, and when / by whom they were converted to a chime
