Subject: [Bell Historians] Bathurst bells
Recent e-mails have referred to the re-hanging of the Warner 1854-six in the
Anglican Cathedral. I think there used to be a reference in Dove of a peal
of 8 Warners bells in the catholic cathedral also. This is a furphy even
though there are two bells in the tower, One weighs 15.2.24 and the other
11.2.13 - 7 and 8 of a peal which did not eventuate. There's that word
again but it does sum up the situation admirably! John Cummins
