Morriston:

For what it's worth, I remember being told in 1965-ish, when I was at London University, by a Welsh ringer, that they were and had been for a little while on the floor of the church, and there was no prospect of them ever being rehung. It would be interesting to know who finally acquired them.

  The diameters were:

  26"

  27"

  28.75"

  30.5"

  31.5"

  36"

All had canons and independent crown staples

Taylors inspected in 1949 & all was dilapidated & in poor condition.

The then tower captain was a one armed ringer.
