Dear All
I thought at one stage I knew all the weights of the 1798 Thomas Mears peal
of 10 at Leeds Parish Church - BUT I can't find them now!!!!
Does anyone else have them?
The tenor weighed 27.1.7
The front six went to St Michaels Headingley (recast Taylors 1890).
1 6.1.24
2 6.3.14
3 6.3.21
4 7.0.7
5 9.0.0 (recast Taylor 1865 - was 8.3.0)
6 9.3.0
The former hour bell at Kirkstall may have come from Leeds Parish Church
(scrapping weight 17.0.6)
I have from the invoice for the 13 bells "recast" in 1840 an allowance for 3
old bells of total weight 60.0.7
HELP!!!
Andrew
