What a load of rubbish. 
 
In terms of civil engineering, creating a ground platform capable of
taking 1000T is not much of an undertaking.
 
A rail line or bridge is not a massive structure but the weight of  a
Union Pacific 844:
	
	907,980 lbs. or  454 tons Engine & Tender
 
 
That's a moving mass to.
