[Bell Historians] Stedman book

[Richard Offen]

There have been some complaints in the past about humorous exchanges
trivialising this list, but I, for one, just can't help myself most of the
time.   I would not be good if we took ourselves seriously all the time and
a little levity helps to humanise this excellent and fascinating forum!

Hello John,

Is humour expressly forbidden on the Bell Historians list?   If so, I am in
deep dark trouble with everyone.   :-(

It might be a serious list; however, we have to laugh some time or it would
be a very dull world.
