Andrew,
HMS Beagle was built at Woolwich Dockyard 1818, and as originally a 10-gun  
Brig the chances are that the bell was s standard Admiralty stock bell complete 
 with 'Broad Arrow'. The most likely source of further information is Chatham 
 Heritage Museum, or possibly Portsmouth Dockyard Museum otherwise.
