"I think that the last complete ring with all new fittings in a new
frame is Halifax (12), as far back as 1951."
 
The quality of the hanging here was not great, and within the last ten
years or so Taylor's have replaced the gudgeons, bearings, bearing
housings and some of the steelwork. The bells themselves are excellent
castings.
