You are correct in all of your assumptions.

R.T. (Tom) Hibbert was born in The Sun Public House at East Ilsley and is 
buried in the church yard in the same grave as his brother. Bill's ashes 
were scattered on The Ridgeway nearby
Bill often said, when visiting the churchyard 'If I had a shovel, I could 
dig up a b----y good peal band'
