Hi All

Replies to my request have been wonderful and I have lots of extra
help in my quest re my ancestor.

John Hopwood, the ringer at Ashton-u-Lyne in the late 1800s is indeed
my Great Grand Father. The records indicate that he may have struggled
with Bristol Max too! Cinques and Treble Bob Max seemed to be his
best. A bit like me!
