Can anyone explain/describe what the clpper things are?
I remember a photo on the wall at Ingrave (Essex), of the bells when they
were removed from the tower prior to rehang and augmentation - the tenor had
a clapper which had two prongs coming out of the top, with little balls on
the end of each prong.
Is this the same thing?
