I tried out the one on the tenor box at Doncaster about 2hrs into a peal. The whole box lifted and slammed back down on the floor with an almighty bang! We were all enveloped in a huge cloud of dust! Bob Caton was looking around the Church at the time and heard the loud bang. He thought something catastrophic had happened.

I once saw straps on the floor, but it was a long time ago, and I forget
where.
