steam bending ash for sliders

The old sliders from St Martin's-in -thee-fields are in use at 
Towcester. They are bentalthough somewhat crudely.  I would think they 
are likely to pre-date the 1850 figure being mentioned?
If anybody can fix their likely installation date it might help this debate?
