looking through the list of societies that we have - thoughts are:
 
> The first has the initial capitals : L.D.C.C.S.

No obvious fit.  D - Diocese or District?  S = Society?  CC =Call
Change???.  

> The second: C. & N.W.

Good fit with:

Cumberland and North Westmorland Association of Change Ringers.  
Founded 26 May 1947.  	The society covered all churches in the Carlisle
diocese, except Millom and those churches which were already affiliated to
the Lancashire Association.
