[Bell Historians] Our Lady of Lourdes and St. Bernard, Toxteth (Edge Hill) Liverpool

Taylors supplied a bell for Our Lady of Lourdes & St Bernard (R.C.), Liverpool, in 1929. The foundry records show that it is 40.75” and weighs 12-2-26. Note G (785hz). It has balanced fittings in a cast-iron frame

 

The inscription is:

 

TAYLOR * FOUNDERS * LOUGHBOROUGH *

Waist: IN HONOREM / S. JOSEPH SPONSI B.V.M. / ET MEMOR PATRIS SUI GUALTERI / d.d. / DEVOTA FILIA / MARIA HENRIETTA LOVELADY / MCMXXIX

Opposite: GUALTERO TRAYNOR PAROCHO
