Dear Historians,

Your help please.

Here is an entry I submitted just now ..

On Saturday, 26 December 1874
Botley Cross
St Paul
5040 Plain Bob Major
1 M Walton
2 J Peters
3 H Smith
4 G Wright
5 J Kirvell
6 W Turvey
7 F Jones
8 J May (C)
Bell’s Life in London 26 Dec 1874 p6 col6

The newspaper says that it was rung by the Botley Youths.

Bellboard quickly flagged this up and to get it accepted I have said it's a lost ring whilst I ask questions.

There is a place in Hampshire called Botley Cross but it's not on Dove.

Any ideas please ?

David
