Without either a precise date for the clock or any visible inscription,
there isn't a lot to go on. This is frustrating as the mid nineteenth
century saw a few bells produced by minor Tyneside foundries like that of
Abbot (Gateshead) and Watson (Newcastle), and it would be good to find some
more. But it's just as likely that they are stock bells from Whitechapel.

Can't find details of the bells, but there is a picture of one of them here,
if this helps identify the founder

Unfortunately I think these are different bells to the ones discussed
recently - they are the clock in Alnwick Town Hall, as you say, not the peal
at St Pauls, which are an octave in Eb, according to Dove. The nominals of
the three bells are 2131Hz, 1779.5Hz and 2131Hz, approximately C, A, F#.
There is no mention of them in the chimes spreadsheet on the Keltek site,
nor do they appear in a quick web search. Does anyone have details?
Regards,
Bill H
