That was very quick!  Thanks. 

 Having a look at Googlemaps I can see the effects of the 1987 fire.  Main body of the church was destroyed and the tower extended to make a dwelling. A new church was built on the rest of the site.
 

 Given that the louvres have been replaced by glass and an estate agent's photograph of the room beneath the belfry shows the clock, but no sign of anything to do with the tubes or Warner bell, I suspect that they have been removed.
