[Bell Historians] Preferred soft copy archiving medium

Just to echo Neal (I run a module on Heritage Data Management at UCL), that
PDF/A is a good option, but there are certainly others depending on the
complexity of the information and how it is presented. Another good
practice is to include the files in the format(s) from which the PDF was
generated, e.g. the word document, text and other embedded components
(tables, text, databases). The Archaeological Data Service based at UYork
has some excellent guides for almost any type of data you can think of,
including images regarding lossless compression and such.
