[Bell Historians] Cowper Congregational Chapel in Dereham

I’ve just found (something else reminded me of a possible source I hadn’t
checked) that Taylors bought some of the bells from Cowper Church in East
Dereham in October 1957. These are listed as two small bells (weights 0-2-14
and 0-3-17) and three gongs (combined weight 0-2-6), making a total of
1-3-19. The price paid was £12. 

 

So the bells were very small indeed, and the chime seems to have been a
combination of hemisphericals and ordinary bells.

 

Unless this is only part of a bigger story still
