When I went through about years of C19 churchwarden's accounts here, I
found (as well as lots of payment for ringing/beer):
1 payment for oil (1/-),
9 payments for ropes (mostly between £3 & £4),
1 expense with bell founder (2/-),
1 winding clock (£3-3-3),
1 window blind for tower (£2-5-0)
The years were 1808 - 1820 & 1863 - 1866. The oil was in 1808.
