It's the same bellhanging firm and dynasty. I've extracted details from a
range of sources showing how the firm described itself at different dates,
and through the 1860s and 1870s both Appleton and Besselsleigh occur almost
interchangeably. 1857-1892 is the actual date range for the references to
Besselsleigh (about 32 occurrences found so far)
Just a hasty reply to convey the basics and save anyone else doing digging
already done!
