[Bell Historians] Peal discrepancy

A local newspaper report might resolve it. Worth checking the British Newspaper Archive. It seems unlikely at Rugby that there might have been peals on two dates so close together, but that's also worth considering.

It gives me no pleasure in saying this but towards the end of it's life the Bell News became very unreliable when publishing peals and quarters, in many cases some were sent in long after the deadline but in many cases they sometimes misprinted peals but in this case it could be that the peal is wrong and not the printed reference. As I haven't seen the board In question I unfortunately cannot comment

I've just added a peal board photo to BellBoard for St Andrew's Rugby. The peal board gives the date as Saturday February 18th 1911, and Belll News 1509:678 (Mar4th) and Felstead give it as Wednesday January 18th 1911. Has this been noticed before and if so which has been accepted as the correct date?
