Regarding Carters where Graham says:
Group 2. Invalid extensions with the same name
- Carter Doubles vs Triples, Caters, Cinques
Allowing for rotations,I believe that anyone asked to ring Reverse Stedman
would expect the following on all odd numbers from 5 on up:
N-2, N, 1, N-2, N,N-2, N,N-2, 1, N,N-2, N
However,
Carter's on all odd numbers from 5 on up is :
3 N 1 3 5 3 5 3 1 N 3 5
not
N-2, N, 1, N-2, N,N-2, N,N-2, 1, N,N-2, 1.
How can this be an invalid extension ?
