That was partly my point.  As  I understand it (though
accounts do vary), when peal was rung, it was  widely
considered to be a hoax (despite having been  indepedently
umpired) as the method was considered to be too  complicated
for it to have been anything else.



I was only being smart alec!   But it is recorded on the CCCBR  website for 
methods so wether it was a hoax or not its down as a record.
I've just looked at the line for Rigel and I think that might be a hoax as  
well!
