Worse than that, in the early 1970's I was convinced that there must be a
solution (given the neat grouping of the rows in the division and the ease
of linking them together). I wasted a huge amount of time and pencil lead
trying to find a 720 (no computers to help). Having eventually given up in
disgust, I turned to the Major. Producing a peal length of that wasn't as
straightforward as you might expect either.
