I also like the use of this statistic.  We all know that music is not much 
good unless it is well spread around, but the conventional counting of 
course don't take this into account at all, and even things like "no 
duffer courses" can be misleading.

Is it time to consider establishing some standard metrics for music 
distribution?

Has anyone tried computer searches for the best composition according to 
"distributional" criteria?
