[r-t] Types of Call

Having just read DFM and PJE's responses to the question of whether the 145 call for Harrington Doubles should be a bob or single, it left we wondering what the definitions are for the various types of call? and in fact, if there are set definitions for them? 
I know as much as a bob swaps 3, and a single 2 - but what are the definitions of 'Omits', 'Extremes', 'Bingles' etc?
