And it is easy enough to make similar methods whose place notation is 
asymmetric but which contain bluelines which are entirely symmetric, 
some about a row, some about a change between rows. For instance, the 
trivial variation:

  -1.2.25.4.5 = 12647583

Hunt bells 1,2,4 follow paths which are reflectively symmetrical about a 
row; the other bells have conventional symmetry pivoting on a change 
between rows.

I suspect nicer examples than this could easily be constructed - 
certainly on higher numbers of bells, but probably on eight, too.
