Kate has mentioned some significant events to ring for in her blog http://cccbr.org.uk/blog/2013-06-18/ and I would be grateful if you could provide special lengths for these please:

World War 1 centenary

4 August 2014 will be the centenary of the start of World War 1 and commences with a service of commemoration at Glasgow Cathedral with commonwealth leaders after the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games.   Key dates are in August 2014, July 2016 and Autumn 2018.  

Magna Carta 800

June 2015 is the 800th anniversary of the signing (sealing) of the Magna Carta.  The build up to the sealing of the Magna Carta in Runnymede in June 1315 started in St Albans on 4 August 1213 when Barons and Clergy met in St Albans Abbey.  There will be an opening weekend of Magna Carta celebrations starting in St Albans this August. 

Commonwealth Games 23 July to 3 August 2014

Please can you come up with e.g. 800s, 1213s, 1215s, 1914s, 1916s, 1918s, 2014, 2015 or some other appropriate lengths and send them to compositions at cccbr.org.uk  and we will publish a selection in the Ringing World and on line in due course.
