Hi All,

Sorry, Leigh, but you are not quite right. Mark Bell did indeed ask 
Methcom to do the work on the Quark peal BUT this was just, in effect, 
formalising the request from the peal's conductor. The first e-mail on 
this dates from the day after the peal.

On another matter, those with an interest in mathematics would have no 
difficulty in thinking of 5040 as a special type of number. It has 
nothing to do with the base 10 system. Perhaps we should report this 
length as &1360 or #11660 in future?
