You ring 5024 changes of major and send it up as a peal.  I don't know
anybody who wouldn't accept that.

Same band, same bells, same number of changes but this time the tenor isn't
turned in; they've rung 5024 changes of triples.  Now it's not a peal.
What's the fundamental difference between the 16 possible rows that weren't
rung in one case and the 35296 that weren't in the other?
