Left it to the last minute and missed the deadline?  

Not quite.  I've just seen this:

When we decided to stop selling advance tickets on 31 August we hadn't
factored in the bank holiday which meant that the RW went out a day late,
and some people would not receive it until today. So we have decided to
extend the advance ticket sales for one more day.

I've also seen an update on the special beers available, and there's a
prize draw (visit certain stands to enter) with some interesting prizes,
and ...
