True - but a maximum of 10 that can be included in an extent.

Yes; only one though I think - the xxxx12/345612. All variants of the 
123/345 wrap are still in theory possible.

This must be a good time to bring out Rapid Wrap from hibernation...

Rapid Wrap Major = 23456781

 From memory there were 9 or 10 wraps of rounds in the plain course.
