[r-t] Extension question

Don, the preference for an extension which works at every stage has 
already been demonstrated this year during the Chogolisa/Bitteswell debate.

Here the band wanted to name a new Surprise Maximus method "Chogolisa". 
The method turned out to be an extension of Bitteswell Surprise Major, 
an extension path which worked at all stages. There was another 
indefinite extension path available, but this only worked at stages 
which were multiples of eight. Rather than force the name "Bitteswell" 
onto this less satisfactory extension path, in the end everyone agreed 
that it would be much better applied to the "Chogolisa" extension instead.

I think this is a good rule.
