Ah, but we count the CHANGES not the rows.
 
To go from rounds to rounds and ring an extent of Triples required 5040
CHANGES.  It matters not whether you start from handstroke or backstroke.
 
The first (non-identity) change delivers the first non-rounds row.
 
A normal start has the first non-rounds row at handstroke.
How you describe it when the first non-rounds row is at backstroke really
doesn't matter as long as the fact is conveyed to the band about to ring it!
