At the moment, I am stuck at home in lockdown, so I have been following up
a few composition ideas.
In 2009, in response to a comment on the Ringing Theory discussion group, I
produced a peal of Oxford Bob Triples with Grandsire Singles, but also with
Holt's Singles.

I still cannot find a way to dispense with the Holt's Singles.
However, I have found that by using singles in 6-7 as well as the grandsire
singles, it is possible to produce a peal.

Taking the block with singles as a starting point:
  234567
s762534
s437562
-624537
-376524
-243576 repeated.

Let z= 3.167 at lead
Then:
 234567 243576
z672543 z762543
s346572 s437562
-723546 -624537
-467523 -376524
-234567 -243576

These are two blocks that contain the same changes as the one block above.
This allows the number of blocks to be even or odd as required.

Here is a peal composition:

234567 1 2 3 4 5
674253 s -
263457 - -
356247 - - -
356724 (-) - -
674325 z s -
273546 - - s s
274635 - s s
234756 - - - z

9 parts, omitting bracketted bob in 3rd, 6th and 9th parts
