I've not rung at Wrington, but surely it must be better than Taunton!
Robinson was writing after true harmonic tuning had been introduced by Tayl=
or's, at least, so it's difficult to believe that he actually listened to t=
he bells if he could still describe such bells as Taunton as 'fine'. Wasn't=
it him who was very pro-Whitechapel and anti-Taylors, even before Whitecha=
pel adopted true-harmonic tuning?
